All Hand Painted by Nancy and a display for Decorative Painting Classes.
"Winters Sleigh Ride" is made from 3/4" Birch Ply...and has some weight.
Open fully flat 26.5" x h 18" and the side panels must come in to stand upright.
Flat folded 18" x 13" x 1.5" thick for storage.
PRICE: $300.00
Includes new special custom box (3 walled) 22" x 4" 16" + new Bubble wrap + new newsprint paper 25" x 27".
Note: My home is non-smoking and pet free...
*** This was a class project for my students: Advanced 2 full days. Limit class size to 4 students per class. There is atleast 10 Layers of thin washes and then lots white floated color on a 1.5" or 2" wide flat brush or add more washes. Patience working on one panel moving to next,next. Floats must be dry.
*** Students pick up 14 days before class the 3 panel screen (cost for $70.00 screen), typed pre-prep instructions, patterns, photos. Prep is homework before coming for class.
Day 1 of class Nancy will give them finishing detailed typed instructions and voice dicrections,.
!!! All 3 panels will be layed out in a row so that we can start with the most difficult part and here I will demonstrate on a students piece. To start with lots of thin coats/layers of white washes on each panel and waiting for each panel to DRY COMPLETLY AND NOT working wet on wet and it wil lmake a MESS !!! of peeling layers of washes.
As I remember asking the students please wait and move to each panel wait have patience. Everything always works out, happy group.
If any one need extra help I will go to there station and personaly take there brush and assist with the issues.
Day 2: before leaving for the day I will give some homework of basecoating like the houses, carriage, black runners, horse, people, ribbons,
holly leaves for the next class. Second day is all the finishing details, floated color of highlights and shading. Finished at end of day and take home
a finished "Triptych Winter Sleigh Ride" ready to varnish w/Deltas satin varnish.
