Writing has become an essential part of my life. I'm a professional English teacher and my short fiction was published by local newspapers a couple years ago. Now I'm writing two books. One is a humorous, hopeful and inspiring dystopian satire, which will come first, and the other is nonfiction, about philosophy and culture mainly. I work on my books everyday. I want to go on a book tour and eventually teach creative writing at UBC, where I got a BA.

We could first meet at Vancouver's central library if you want. There's coffee. A coliseum! It's a battle of the books! Vancouver is awesome. "Above all, war" says Nietzsche. "One has renounced grand life when one renounces war." True. My writing is a declaration of war. I plan on winning. "Is that war you're waging?" sings Red Hot Chili Peppers. Indeed. It's a war.
