Our client is a property development/contracting co in Vancouver. They are adding on this new position to help with their growth. Candidates with solid project accounting experience will have an advantage.
Suitable candidate will be handling both project and general accounting work. Half of your role at this time will be handling project accounting: preparing monthly project projects, update cost of sales/WIP reports, reconciling Job cost and General Ledger, update budget variances, etc. The balance of the work will be in general accounting work: Cash management, General Ledger, quarter end and year end working papers, inter-company loan reconciliations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and working with project managers. Candidate with Timberline software experience and proficiency in MS Excel preferred.
