AP Administrator (part-time) (Railtown area, Vancouver)

compensation: $19.00-24.00 per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is early in their accounting career, to join a high-end company specializing in multi-residential and commercial furniture, lighting, closet, and kitchen installations. The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices for their assigned projects while providing an exceptional level of customer service to our suppliers, vendors, and colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for full accounts payable cycle for a designated vendor base
• Running weekly cheque runs and expense report reimbursements
• Performing GL reconciliations for payables accounts
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as required for vendor related information
• Correspond with vendors and employees regarding invoices and payments
• Monthly vendor statement reconciliations
• Other duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable process is essential
• Ability to understand general account coding and vendor invoices
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, high volume processing function
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with accounting software and MS Office
• Solid oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills

**20 hours per week
**$19.00 - 24.00 per hour
