As part of your varied duties as an Accounting Clerk, you will: - Maintain the property management books - Prepare monthly and annual statements for Strata Corporations and Property Owners - Bank and trust reconciliations - Prepare and review AR work - Prepare and review AP work - Prepare weekly deposits for Strata Corporations/Process EFT files - Review monthly financial statements, make recommendation and adjustments - File statutory returns (GST WorkSafe BC) - Prepare year end audit working paper and liaised with the auditors during the field work period Qualifications: - 5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience - 2 years of real estate property accounting experience - Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize workload and multi-task. - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing - Ability to make smart decision and a strong problem-solving skills - Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Self-starter with high degree of initiative If you are the kind of person who loves to have fun while working hard, this is the office for you.
