Bookkeeper (Burnaby)

We are a small accounting office looking for a bookkeeper to add to our team.

Full time, we provide a good working salary and benefits. Although actual times worked could be somewhat flexible, we will expect 40 hours per week. We are a relaxed, business casual office.

Some training could be provided to motivated individuals with the following qualifications:  

Must understand entire bookkeeping cycle, from setting up books to sorting receipts, data entry, reconciling banks and credit cards, recording assets, filing GST/PST/WCB, preparing payroll and T4's, preparing balance sheet/income statement for accountant to prepare year end.   Will be expected to organize and assist accountant with the administrative portion of the client files. 

Must be able to use accounting programs like Quickbooks, AccountEdge and Simply.   Will expect an organized individual who is able to prioritize tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
