We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver and Truck drivers to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues when necessary to minimize downtime.
Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
Assist in securing freight to prevent damage during transit and handling.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of freight handling, logistics, and transportation safety protocols.
Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting.
Prior experience in commercial driving or related fields is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Physical ability to load/unload freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary.
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently on the road for extended periods.
