Job Title: Class 5 Driver – Recycling & Materials Collection

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Commercial Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves the scheduled pickup of recyclable materials from customer locations throughout the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate takes pride in their driving, customer service, and contributing to environmentally responsible operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate company vehicles to collect recyclable materials from commercial and industrial customers
• Perform daily routes throughout the Lower Mainland, ensuring timely and efficient pickups
• Load and secure materials in accordance with safety and company procedures
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
• Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and electronic records as required
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers at pickup locations
• Follow all company policies, provincial regulations, and safety standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (positions available with and without air brakes)
• Previous commercial driving experience in 1 - 5 ton box trucks
• Experience using electric pallet jack and power tailgate
• Ability to safely handle light physical work, including lifting and securing loads
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Lower Mainland truck routes
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
