Skilled Labour – Commercial Construction (TRAVEL REQUIRED)
We are a successful commercial construction company with projects throughout British Columbia. We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to take on a Lead Hand role with the potential to move into a Supervisor role.
This position requires mandatory out-of-town work. Projects are located across BC, and extended stays away from home are a normal and non-negotiable part of this position.
A Live Out Allowance (LOA) will be provided when working out of town to cover accommodations and daily expenses.
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for managing commercial job sites, coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors, and working on the tools when required. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical skills and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Full on-site supervision of commercial construction projects
• Coordinating and managing trades and subcontractors
• Maintaining schedules, quality, and site safety
• Reading and working from blueprints
• Hands-on work as required
Required experience in commercial construction:
• Demolition
• Steel stud framing
• Boarding and taping
• Finishing
• Hardware and cabinetry installation
Requirements:
• Willing and able to work out of town for extended periods (weeks at a time)
• Able to interpret construction drawings
• Familiar with the BC Building Code
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Physically fit
• Own vehicle and valid BC Driver’s License
• Own tools
