Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishes, stains, and sealants to cabinetry, ensuring a high-quality, polished appearance that meets our standards. Responsibilities:
*Apply stains, paints, varnishes, and sealants to cabinet surfaces using brushes, sprayers, or hand tools
*Sand and smooth surfaces before finishing to achieve desired texture and appearance
*Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications
*Prepare cabinets for finishing by cleaning and masking areas as needed
*Follow schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings to ensure accurate application of finishes
*Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
*Collaborate with team members on assembly, installation, or restoration projects as needed
*Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during finishing processes
Requirements
*Proven experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or finishing roles preferred
*Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in finishing processes
*Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling cabinetry components
*Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
*Experience with restoration work or cabinet installation is a plus
*Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
