These older pieces from Fisher Price are real treasures. This one is the little ferris wheel from 1966 with the strong base. You turn the knob and the little boy figure with the side cap pretends to be the one turning the bar that makes the music play and the ferris wheel turn. Both the music and the turning mechanism work great. The seats get filled with 4 passengers. A black and white dog, a bald man who is an old completely wooden figure, a mother and her little child. They stay in their seats perfectly as the wheel goes around. As with all these old Fisher Price special pieces there is some paper loss and wear but this one still has the lovely big stars on the side of wheel (which is something that always seems to come off) These are getting harder to come by all the time - especially in working condition.
