Looking for a female or couple to share responsibilities for home caring for senior male 89 years old who is blind and has dementia. Responsibility will be to get him up and dressed, washed up (change depends) and do the same for bed, shower once every couple of days. Setting him up and feeding him breakfast (around 12-1 pm, Supper around 5-6 pm) also assist in helping him up or down the stairs in the morning and then up or down the stairs in the evening for bed. This is 7 days a week with a possible day off here or there if coinvent for our family. All of this care giving should take less than 3 hours a day and more like closer to two hours a day.
This arrangement will be available for as long as the senior person requiring care is still living with us at the house, if and when the senior is no longer here requiring this senior care service, we will more than likely consider changing this arrangement into a straightforward rental agreement at market price or better.
We are looking for the person(s) to commit to a 1-year agreement and 30-day notice of cancellation of senior care agreement. We will need a $500 damage deposit for the suite.
Ideal candidates will have experiences with looking after elder people as a care giver either professionally or in the past looking after elderly family members or elderly friend's members.
All conditions of this agreement will be honored within the outlines of a tenant landlord agreement.
