Hi, I’m a 34 year old male with some experience on an excavator and am looking for an opportunity to get more experience and work for free or a low wage until my skills are up to the required standards.

I used to have a small hardscape business doing retaining walls (concrete, block), pavers, stairs, carpentry features etc. I know how to use a laser level and understand the importance of achieving proper grade heights to make the building process smoother and give the builder enough room to work properly.

The reason I am looking for a position like this is because I sustained a non work related injury a few years ago so I am unable to do the daily labour intensive work required in hardscape construction moving 10s of thousands of pounds a day, although some is fine. I can provide pictures of some of the previous work I’ve done as well.
