I’m currently looking for work and trying a different approach since the traditional application process hasn’t been working out for me.
I’m a 44-year-old with over 25 years of experience across a wide range of industries. I’ve done everything from construction and plumbing work to warehouses, delivery, remote camps, drilling, and even sales and customer service. I’ve worn a lot of hats and learned how to adapt quickly.
Some highlights:
2 years as an assistant construction manager (running multiple dig jobs, supervising crews, coordinating installs and site work)
Experience with sewer lines, water lines, drain tile, shoring, backfill, and general site operations
Equipment operation (bobcat, front-end loader, excavator)
Pipeline and welding shop experience, including tool crib management and tool maintenance
Inventory control, logistics, and hands-on problem solving
I’ve managed people, worked independently, dealt with customers, and handled real responsibility on job sites.
Being upfront: I do have ADHD and deal with depression. That doesn’t stop me from working—it just means I do best with clear communication and a bit of flexibility. In the right environment, I’m reliable, capable, and bring a lot to the table.
I’m open to:
Labour or skilled trades
Construction, shop work, equipment operation
Full-time, part-time, or contract work
Also—bit of a different ask:
Are there any business owners or “money guys” out there who need an ideas person? I’ve been around a lot of industries and tend to see practical solutions and opportunities others miss. If you’re looking for someone to bounce ideas off or help solve problems creatively, I’m open to that too.
I also have business ideas for food trucks, moving companies and dog rescues if anyone wants to start a business with me.
If you’ve got something or know someone who does, send me a message.
Thanks for reading.
