Office Administration / Sales Support (Delta BC)

compensation: Salary base on experience

Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Office Admin / Sales Support to cover the full-time shift at our food manufacturing plant. The position will be based in Delta, BC.

Work Hours: Ability to work full time Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm but responsible for any vacation relief or coverage.

-Act as liaison between Sales, production management and customers
-Coordinate projects with sales, production, QA and procurement to meet project deadlines.
-Maintain Project management duties by attending team meetings to discuss all new R&D menus while assisting in costing and all other aspects of project development
-Organize and schedule appointments and meetings when required
-Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled production reports
-Provide support in costing duties completing document preparation
-Prepare correspondence, report forms by compiling data and other information.
-Liaise with staff and management to handle requests and queries.
-Be the main “go to” and communication between customer and all other members of management and staff
-Maintain the effective operation and upkeep the office equipment, including photocopier, fax machine, printers, computers and telephones.
-Answer phones and email and relay messages
-Greet and welcome visitors
-Provide excellent customer service via phone and e-mail while following up and resolving issues in a timely manner
-Understand the flow between customers orders, production distribution and shipping from beginning to end.
Follow up and resolve customer's outstanding issues and requests in a timely fashion
-Organize incoming mail and invoices and distribute to appropriate department.
-Provide Clerical and administrative support to General and Sales Management
-Attend staff meetings and other specific topic meetings as scheduled
-Perform other duties as required
-Maintain a level of confidentiality
