A cool looking, great sounding guitar!
The shape is very "Swingin' 60's".
Some Danelectro guitars sound and play like "toy" guitars - not this one.
Hot pickups - sounds like a Telecaster, but fatter.
Used by players such as Jimmy Page, David Lindley, Ry Cooder, and George Harrison, Howlin' Wolf.
If you consider yourself a blues player, you will want this for vintage tone.
Guitar has been professionally set up as follows:
D-B-C-F-A-D (low to high)
D'Addario (EXL145) strings.
String heights at 12th fret:
4 1/2 64th inch (at high E)
5 1/2 64th inch (at low E).
25" scale.
This setup is for slide guitar and fretting (12" radius fretboard).
WOOD body (yes, grasshopper, it is wood).
Made in Korea.
Fully-adjustable bridge - to suit your individual preference.
Lipstick-style pickups
Master volume / tone
3-way pickup selector
A National Steel resonator tone can be dialed in with the right EQ.
Purchased in Greenville, South Carolina. I forget what year, but it was before MAGA. The serial number is visible in one of the pics (I think).
Custom-fit gig bag included.
CASH only
Will accept equivalent value of guitar strings (D'Addario or DR Pure Blues) and/or guitar straps (3" wide padded leather only). Not interested in guitars/amps/pedals.
