Super lightweight compact design, less than 10lbs. But the keyboard action is much nicer than most synth style keyboards. Not as “clacky”, with a more solid feel to play on.
Powerful features built into a very compact space.
As well as the 9 Programmable Drawbar Sliders, and 9 Programmable Rotary Knobs, the keyboard itself also has Twelve Assignable Velocity curves as well as Assignable Aftertouch curves. The 18 Programmable Pads can also be assigned their own Velocity and Aftertouch Curves.
As well as each of the PCR800’s 50 Controllers, Buttons, and Pads being fully assignable, by using Midi Message Assignments, each of the PCR800’s 50 Controllers can also be freely assigned its own unique Midi Message to be transmitted by each controller. This can be done in PCR800’s own edit mode, or with the Included PCR Editor App on computer.
Unique Crossfader and Long-Throw Sliders
The new Crossfader allows Control of Two Parameters at the Same Time, and can be used to Control Synthesizer Filters, DJ Gestures and more. The new longer-throw sliders can control eight track faders and one master fader, or function as a Full Set of 9 Organ Drawbars.
All Main and Left Panel Buttons have their own indicator LED light, which also can be programmed for Off, Intermittent, or Steady display depending on user preference.
The PCR800 is a very powerful Midi/USB controller with abilities far beyond many others, (especially if you love to dig in and set up your own custom settings and control features for your modules or DAW software controls etc).
9 DRAWBAR FADERS! - Perfect Organ Drawbar Control!
Many controller kbds only provide 8 Sliders, leaving you one shy for true organ drawbar control. (The Hammond B3 has 9.) The PCR800 gives you the full 9 Drawbar Sliders, along with 18 Fully Assignable Button and 8 Fully Assignable Control Knobs assignment capabilities.
This particular unit is already set up and programmed with 9-Drawbar control for B3 Organ clones and softwares, with the buttons and control knobs assigned likewise for those B3 panel features most players like to have at their fingertips (Percussion, Overdrive, Leslie Rotary Speed Control, Vibrato, Chorus, etc, etc.). All of these can of course be easily reassigned to your own liking.
Also includes a printed template - with plastic cover to keep it clean - that can be easily mounted under the knobs and buttons giving instant visual feedback for each of the controls without having to try and recall what each button or knob is set for. Can also provide an editable PDF file template for you to print your own custom marked templates.

FULL MIDI INTERFACE with Midi Merge
The Midi Connectors on the PCR800 will also operate as a USB Midi Interface with Midi Merge capabilities.
OUTPUTS and CONNECTORS, Super Easy Access
All Outputs are all on the left end of the kbd for super easy access both on stage and in studio. No crawling around in the dark or around the back of your desk trying to see what goes where from the back of your kbd or cables getting all mixed up if in a stack multi keyboard setup.
USB and A/C POWER
The PCR800 can be powered directly via USB, or via external A/C Power Supply (included - if you don’t want to use USB).
High-Quality Keyboard with Aftertouch
The PCR’s new ultra-sensitive keyboard provides a wider dynamic range under the player’s fingertips, while new aftertouch sensors allow the keyboardist to play more expressively. Smooth key action, keys shaped for comfortable glissando playing, silent operation, and stable key mounting all contribute to the enhanced playability of these keyboards.
Intelligent “Dynamic Mapping” and Editor Software
Dynamic Mapping allows the PCR to automatically assign its physical controls to the most important parameters (e.g. in the current window of the software being used). Fifteen user memory locations are provided for storing your favorite setups. When using software that’s not compatible with Dynamic Mapping, you can manually configure the Control Map settings from the PCR itself or the included PCR Editor Software (Mac or Win).
Side Panel Connections for Streamlined Routing
The rear panel of the keyboard is free of connections so that you can easily have a computer display (e.g. LCD monitor), ASCII keyboard, mouse & mouse pad, or laptop computer behind the keyboard — in the ideal position for use. This is especially beneficial for educational users in classrooms where space is often restricted. All connections are located on the left side - USB, MIDI IN/OUT plus separate Hold and Expression pedal ports. The PCR keyboard works with USB bus power. AC adaptor not required. (Though an AC Adaptor is included with this unit.) A MIDI Merge capability from the MIDI input to either the MIDI output (or to the computer via USB) is also provided, and is convenient for advanced MIDI systems.
