We offer pianos with cabinets that are not produced today and if they were the prices would be so much higher.
The pianos we choose to offer clients often have nice ivory keys and wood not found in pianos made today.
We are only able to do a few of these a year as we are busy with clients who bring us there family heirlooms to be restored and enjoyed for generations ahead. The pictures here are examples of a few we have done in the past. We keep a very select stock of pianos that we can rebuild for those who love them.
Prices rage from $25,000 and up. The value of the raw piano is not much, what we do to them, making them look and perform as they do, takes hundreds of hours and that is what ads to the value of them. Sound boards can be custom crafted, actions replaced and cabinets refinished to look as new. Utilizing the best parts and craftsmanship we can give new life to old pianos.
The upright brands we generally rebuild and recommend are Heintzman, Mason & Risch, Bell, Gerhard Heintzman, Steinway & Sons and a few others.
