What will you be responsible for:
Complete assembly of mechanical frames or components.
Follow manufacturing guidelines laid out by IEM.
Use component layout tools including but not limited to screwdrivers, tee square, machinist square, tape measure, and power drills for assembly as required.
Meeting production schedules while maintaining IEM’s strictest quality standards.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Keep the supervisor informed of problems, progress and suggestions in a timely manner.
Comply with all safety, quality, work rules, guidelines, and regulations
Perform metal corrections and touch up paint as directed.
Independently inspect own work for in process defects to ensure error-free products.
Identify opportunities that provide cost effective alternative methods to process materials.
Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.
What you need to be part of our team:
High School Diploma
To be physically fit and mechanically inclined; prior use of hand tools (i.e. impact drill/driver)
Able to work in a manufacturing environment and perform physical requirements of the job, which may include standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50lbs and completing repetitive tasks for long period of time
Ability to work quickly with your hands while maintaining accuracy and high quality
Must have own transport as there is no public transit in the area

Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Environment:
Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
