We are currently recruiting for the position of Quality Assurance Engineer. This position:
•Is responsible for working with the Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing department in a dynamic product development and batch production environment
•Collaborates with the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System programs
•Conducts problem solving activities to determine root cause of quality issues and implementation of best corrective and preventive actions
•Participates in the internal audit program that measures overall effectiveness of the quality management system
•Recommends/leads projects to improve corporate quality performance, increase customer satisfaction, and simplification of processes to reduce non-conformances and costs. Leads supplier performance evaluation

Duties:
•Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action
•Identifies opportunities for improvement of the Quality Management System and processes in various areas: production, QC, distribution, etc. to ensure consistent product quality
•Coordinates the various processes involved in the supplier program, including qualification, PPAP, evaluation, supplier manufacturing and testing processes, and quality systems
•Coordinates with suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEMs) to resolve quality related issues and leads root cause analysis/corrective actions implementation to prevent recurrence
•Participates in the internal audit program that measures the overall effectiveness of quality management system
•Determines when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes, evaluates results, and recommends changes based upon findings
•Investigates customer complaints/requests and manages the resolution
•Analyze quality performance utilizing using statistical and analytical tools and methods to inspect, test and evaluate reliability, precision, and accuracy of processes, products and production equipment
•Assists disposition process by collaborating in failure analysis and suggesting corrective actions when applicable
•Demonstrates the values of safety, teamwork, service, integrity, accountability, initiative, and ingenuity
•Co-ordinate maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment

Qualifications:
•Good knowledge in metrology
•CAD experience (preferable)
•Understanding of QA methodologies and testing techniques (Certified Quality Engineer preferable)
•Experience with supplier qualification and evaluation procedures (PPAP)
•Experience providing Quality Control support within a fast paced developing/manufacturing environment
•In-depth knowledge of Quality Management System/ISO9001:2015 requirements
•Experience in the use of precision tools and instruments/equipment and gauges to accomplish verification of conformance to technical data
•Experience in CMM inspection and programming
•Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
•Communication skills: demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional work groups including suppliers and associates, both verbally and in writing. Excellent listening and presentation skills
•Computer skills including Microsoft office
