Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Pool Maintenance & Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in pool care, equipment troubleshooting, and delivering high quality customer service. This role involves weekly maintenance, diagnostic service calls, and ensuring every client’s pool operates safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine weekly pool maintenance, including vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and backwashing.
* Conduct accurate water testing (using liquid test kits and digital meters) and apply necessary chemical adjustments.
* Inspect equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and saltwater generators, identifying issues proactively.
* Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment failures or performance concerns.
* Document work performed, chemical readings, and recommendations after each visit.
* Communicate professionally with clients regarding pool conditions and required repairs.
* Follow all safety protocols and maintain company tools and vehicles in good condition.
* Assist with installations, replacements, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in pool maintenance, service, or a related technical field preferred.
* Strong knowledge of water chemistry, filtration systems, and pool equipment.
* Ability to troubleshoot common pool issues efficiently and accurately.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
* Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
* Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors year-round.
Certification:
Candidates must be certified or willing to become certified by a Health Institution through an 8-hour paid, in-person course
