The best operational support people in our organization lead by example and understand the routes they are responsible for supporting.

COMMUNICATION EXPECTATIONS
Communication is one of the most important parts of this position.
The successful candidate must be comfortable communicating with carriers, management, and other team members in real time.
If there is a problem:
COMMUNICATE FIRST.
The earlier management becomes aware of an issue, the more options we have available to solve it.
We would rather know about an issue immediately than hear about it hours later after it becomes a customer complaint.
Nobody will ever be criticized for asking for help or reporting a problem.
However, known issues that are not communicated can quickly become service failures.
Bad news does not get better with age.
