I'm looking for a landscape Assistant who can assist with lawn cutting ,weeding, planting and other garden duties. Other landscape duties may be required.
This position would go from mid to late March to late Oct and into mid November.
Hours are only: casual/part time but may be increased at various times as work dictates.
Please note: FULL TIME WILL NOT BE OFFERED , so please do not apply, if that's what you are looking for.
One would be seriously considered who is already working part time or going to school but has the flexibility/reliability to be available between the hours of 10:15 am up to 4:30 pm during the day. Not usually that whole time frame.
Must have your BC Drivers License and be able to drive when required. Driving standard is a definite plus.
As well, Tsawwassen, Ladner, North Delta, Surrey or Whiterock applicants will get top priority
The majority of work is mostly Monday and Thursdays for Lawn cuts and possibly Tuesday and/or Wednesday for garden work.
No work on weekends.

-- must be healthy i.e. no chronic medical issues etc. as the job is physical
- previous gardening experience is essential
-being able to operate landscape equipment is a bonus (various applicants will be tested)
-speak English fluently

- be very reliable and committed for the season
- be a team player
- excellent people skills is a must
- be a motivated person
- pay attention to detail and being able to work independently
-- must be OK with a criminal record check.
