Beautiful large hand-glazed pottery vase featuring a rich green and black drip glaze over a rounded bulbous form. The inside is a clean off-white, while the base reveals the continuation of the striking glaze pattern. The piece stands approx. 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide at its widest point. Likely studio art pottery, possibly mid-century or later. No maker’s mark, but the bottom glaze treatment and rim suggest skilled craftsmanship.
There is minor wear and small chips on the base edge (see photos), but overall the vase is in excellent displayable condition with no cracks or repairs. Gorgeous deep tones and glazing make this a bold accent for any shelf, mantle, or centerpiece.
