We are a well-established structural engineering consulting firm with 30+ years of experience and are seeking a self-motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team.
Qualifications
• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• P.Eng. (BC), EIT, or eligible for EIT
• 3+ years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with concrete, steel & wood design
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD
• Familiar with SAP2000, WoodWorks, etc.
• Strong communication, problem-solving & organizational skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Valid BC driver’s license
Responsibilities
• Structural analysis and design for various building projects
• Prepare structural drawings and shop drawings
• Review shop drawings
• Perform design calculations
• Conduct field reviews and prepare reports
• Support construction teams and coordinate with clients/architects
