Looking for a professional, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As the bridge between customers and technicians, you play a critical role in ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and customers leave satisfied.
We are looking for someone who excels at communication and can manage the fast-paced flow of a busy automotive service center.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation: Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and provide clear explanations of required repairs or maintenance.
Estimating & Sales: Create accurate repair estimates for parts and labor (including complex jobs like engine swaps or transmission services).
Workflow Coordination: Schedule appointments and communicate clearly with the shop foreman and technicians to ensure timely vehicle turnaround.
Sourcing Parts: Work with suppliers to order necessary components and manage inventory for ongoing jobs.
Quality Control: Review completed work orders with customers, explaining the "why" behind the service and ensuring all concerns were addressed.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive front-end role is ideal.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.
Technical Literacy: Familiarity with automotive systems and maintenance schedules.
Organization: Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
Professionalism: A positive attitude and a commitment to providing top level service.
