If you are a collector of vintage cookie jars this one is a real treat. Love the look in the cat's eyes, but I can't decide if it loves the two happy little birds or if it is planning it's planning to pounce - lol. The base has the old 'Made in Japan' sticker and seems to have a a small crack coming down from the rim - but it rings when tapped - so it just might be on the glaze. The cat's eye has a paint flake. The lid has a tiny flee-bite on the edge and one of the bird's wings. The is some minor age related crazing. (note that I have taken pictures of all these elements for you) These cookie jars were treated to much rugged use, so this one has actually escaped with little damage since it's birth in the 60s. I have seen this cookie jar sell for over $80.00 so the price I am asking takes these flaws into account. The flaws are mostly invisible when displayed. The jar when the lid is on is 10" tall.

We are in White Rock - right by the Semiahmoo Mall. We are a - no smoking - no pet - home. If you are paying in cash I would appreciate exact change. I am accept PayPal - NOT e-transfer. We will be dropping the item off to you, by your car, in our parking lot.
