All the ornaments in this rich set are glass. They are a beautiful blend of satin and gloss, reds and golds. With plenty of glitter they speak of old world elegance. The star of the show is of course the beautiful glass bird with his fluffy feather tail and clip holder to perch on a branch. The look of the decorations on the ornaments, along with the rich red and gold colour range, really remind me of an old bohemian look. There is even a Faberge styled jewelled egg to go along with the theme. The largest of the balls is a generous 3.5". They are from various manufactures over various times. I noticed a couple of USA from the 70s, a Poland and Japan and a couple of East Germany from the 50/60s. There are 17 in total and all are without any damage or even much wear though the older ones do show a bit of time - but that is part of their charm isn't it?

I am selling them as I need to thin down my Christmas ornament collection which has grown huge over years of collecting - I used to decorate a different theme every year.
