It is the perfect bike for a growing youth or shorter adult, as the 13-inch frame will allow a very young rider, 8 years and up, to ride the bike. It has 2 important features.

A 13-inch light aluminum frame with 26inch wheels will provide the following benefits over a 24-inch wheel bike.
1. A 26-inch tire bike is more stable. An obstacle or rut will not impact the ride
2. A 26-inch tire rolls over obstacles and street imperfections more easily for a smoother rider
2. Parts to replace a 26-inch wheel are much more plentiful if a wheel is ever damaged.
This is a quality TREK bike with all quality Shimano Components. TREK has a reputation for building only the best bikes, ensuring the rider will have a lifetime of trouble-free riding.
The bike has a 13-inch lightweight frame made of aircraft aluminum with a long seat post to accommodate a taller rider. The lightness of the bike makes it very easy to pedal, and it handles extremely well. If you transport your bike, you will also appreciate the lightness. An aluminum frame bike will also never rust.
The bike features all Shimano Components designed to provide a lifetime of trouble-free riding. The rear derailleur is a top-of-the-line ALUMINUM Shimano ACERA that does a superior job of engaging the chain in each gear. The Shimano ACERA derailleur results in very easy shifting that are precise in each gear. A quality Shimano ACERA will keep its tune and not require constant $79 tune-ups.
The bike features 24 speeds with a Mega Low gear to conquer any hill and a high 24th gear for effortless pedalling on the flats. The shifters are Shimano EZE Fire shifters. The top lever shifts the bike up a gear, and the bottom lever shifts the bike down a gear. The bike shifts gears instantly with just the flick of your finger or thumb.
The bike has 26-inch lightweight aluminum wheels. with all stainless steel spokes. Stainless steel spokes mean:
1. The wheel is much stronger with stainless steel spokes.
2. The spokes will not rust and can easily be adjusted if a wheel is ever bent. Regular steel spokes rust at the nipple and often break if a wheel needs to be trued. The all-terrain tires provide excellent traction on or off-road. If you are riding on the pavement, they are designed to ride on the middle section of the tread and give a very smooth ride.
The bike features aluminum TEKTRO linear-pull V-brakes that provide superior stopping in wet or dry conditions.
The front shocks are ALUMINUM SUNTOUR SR shocks that make an incredible difference on or off-road, as they prevent road vibration from being felt in the handlebars. They also protect the rider by cushioning any impact and preventing the bike from rebounding quickly and throwing the rider. They also protect the front wheel and forks from damage by absorbing any impact. Aluminum shocks are also much lighter than regular steel forks, often painted black or chromed.
The bike has a very comfortable bike seat and a quick-release seat for adjustments on the fly.
The bike has been tuned and rides, shifts and brakes as new.
The 2026 TREK model is now the Wahoo Path at 749. It has 3 important features missing.
1. It is only an 8-speed, not a 24-speed.
2. It has no front suspension
3. It has very low handlebars
