This is an INFINITY Hybrid comfort bike. A Hybrid combines the low rolling resistance of a road bike with the comfort of a cruiser. The Infinity is a multi-purpose bike as it can be set up to ride sitting upright as a comfort bike, or adjusted to ride as an aggressive road bike.
One of the nicest features of the INFINITY Hybrid is the ability to customize the bike to your height or riding style. The Handlebar Stem is on a pivot system that allows the handlebars to go very low for putting your weight over the front of the bike or very high for cruising while sitting upright. It is extremely comfortable with the handlebars raised, as you can ride sitting upright. If the bars are lowered, the bike can be ridden as a traditional road bike, with the rider's weight focused on the handlebars and the rider bent over the handlebars for less wind resistance. There is a total of 13 inches of variation.
The seat on the Infinity Hybrid is a comfort seat. It is wider than a traditional mountain bike seat and covered in weatherproof material. The bike also has a special suspension seat post-shock absorber that can be adjusted to the rider's weight or riding preference. It really makes a difference if you have a bad back, as it prevents any jarring when riding.
The pedal or crank arms are top-quality SR SUNTOUR units made of aluminum, not plastic, painted to look like metal, and the pedals are lightweight cast aluminum that will not crack and wear down as the plastic pedals do.
The INFINITY COMFORT bike has a 20-inch aluminum frame,. The frame is lightweight aircraft aluminum. It makes it very easy to load and unload and pedaling is extremely easy due to the lightweight. On the road or trail, the handling is superb due to its lightweight. Having an aluminum frame means the frame will never rust.
The 700c wheels are double-walled aluminum and super light yet strong. The bike also has all stainless steel spokes, which will never rust. This is important for wheel adjustment as ordinary steel spokes rust, and a regular steel spoke usually breaks when trying to adjust or true the wheel.
The Hybrid has 700C all-terrain tires that are suitable for pavement or light trails. The tires have very little rolling resistance and literally just glides along.
The Infinity Hybrid Comfort bike features top-quality ALUMINUM Adjustable SR SUNTOUR shocks. ALUMINUM shocks are much lighter than painted or chromed steel shocks, and will never corrode. SR SUNTOUR shocks are the best shocks and are only used on hi- end bikes. Shocks also protect the bike and the rider. If a pothole or obstacle is hit, the shock absorbs the impact, preventing damage to the wheel. Shocks can protect the rider from being thrown from the bike by absorbing or dampening any impact.
The Infinity uses a top-of-the-line ALUMINUN Shimano ALTUS derailleur that has a larger bottom sprocket that guides the chain onto the gear and provides precise and quiet shifts. A quality Shimano ALTUS Derailleur will also keep the bike in tune, so it will not require constant $79 tune-ups.
The bike features 24 gears, with a super low 1st gear to conquer any hill and a high gear 24th for effortlessly pedalling on the flats. The bike features SHIMANO EZE-FIRE twin shifters. The top lever shifts the bike up a gear, and the bottom gear shifts the bike down a gear. The bike shifts instantly and quietly in each gear. .
The Trek uses high-end aluminum linear-pull V-brakes. They provide superior braking in wet or dry conditions.
This is a high-end TINFINITY bike with only high-end components. You will not find INFNITY bikes sold in department stores, as they are only sold in high-end dealer bike stores.
