Hello my name is Cadence. I am a working, multi-disciplinary artist from White Rock looking for a safe studio space in the area. My current home in Crescent Beach was built in the 1920s and is the right amount of space to live in, but not to work from.

I am a visual artist foremost, having graduated from Langley Fine Arts and attended UVic for Visual Art. My current focus is on watercolor painting and portraiture in toned pencil. I work as a traditional graphic designer and chalk artist. I also do custom clothing alterations, window painting, murals, as well as costume, prop and set design for film.

My dream is to find an open concept, private, brightly lit space that I can come and go from as I please, and leave all of my work safely behind locked door.

I would love something that can welcome a small drafting table by a window for illustrating, a table for sewing and drafting, an easle for painting, and a corner for 2 pvc utility shelves for material storage. The cherry on top would be enough room to fit 2 comfortable chairs, for myself and my clients.

Though I work in a variety of mediums, I am very clean and organized. I pride myself in having all of my various materials sorted and labelled in to clear boxes for easy access. My artistry is my work, my studio is my office.

Do you have a clean, insulated and spacious shed?
An empty laneway house?
An upper level of a detached garage?
A garden level room?
A vacant office space in a commercial building?

Please email me at show contact info with a little about you and your space! I am able to pay rent (preferably under 300) and would even be open to a barter. Aside from being an artist, I am an avid vegetable gardener, certified and experienced early childhood educator, house painter, and am great at organizing.

Thank you!
