Supergeek is currently seeking a Full Time Level I Tech Support Consultant to assist public and business clients

Your Functions May Include:

Monitor job output using bureau documentation to ensure proper printing, breakdown and delivery of information.

Coordinate and schedule work with vendor service providers. (Sophos, ZoneEdit or other automated programs)

Monitor environmental equipment, temperature of server room computer equipment and regular check ups.

Help desk backup in assisting customers resolve problems with computer hardware and software issues.

Use of Kaseya VSA, Anydesk or other tools to connect with customers and updating tickets.

Monitor scheduling system to ensure proper scheduling constraints, completion and disposition of jobs.

Set up, verify and run jobs using job control language statements and/or other appropriate commands.

Direct input and output queues, readers, writers and classes to meet scheduling commitments.

Troubleshoot software and hardware on-line to maintain system throughout and performance.

Document all new, changing and malfunctioning jobs related to the hardware and software.

Monitor jobs using a computer terminal or personal computer.

Monitor hardware and software on LAN/WAN systems.

Analyze and recover system when malfunction occurs.

Perform back-up, recovery and systems monitoring.

Monitor security procedures.

Your Qualifications Include:

An Associate of Arts degree in computer science or completion of a certificate program equivalency - or -

Two years of data processing experience and operations for a medium/large scale computer system or client/server.

Must be proficient in English. Other languages are an asset, but not required.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing.

Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Class 5 Drivers License

You Possess a Strong Working Knowledge of:

Network Operating Systems Concepts

Operating Systems Hardware Architecture

Principles And Practices Of Effective Communication
