The SD305 is lightweight and easy to move around. It can easily be set up in small spaces at home or in practice areas and studios. 7 rubber drum pads with touch sensitivity and two pedals for kick and hi-hat provide you with everything you need to simulate a real drum kit without the difficulty of setting one up.
The size of the SD305 makes it ideal for using as a practice aid in between drum lessons at school or college. A headphones output supports silent practice, ensuring that this drum machine can be used without disturbing the neighbors.
An easy-to-read 3-digit LED display and clearly marked controls help you to scroll through 25 preset drum kits and an expansive library of 215 percussion voices, including snare drums, toms, congas, and electronic sounds. You can mix and match sounds across your 9 drumming surfaces, and save combinations you like to the 5 user drum kits.
When you're ready to play, there are 100 backing tracks to jam to covering genres from rock to bossa nova; perfect to rock out and have fun with. The in-built metronome comes in 2 different voices; key for helping develop rock solid timing.
The SD305 is highly versatile with a range of playing options. If you fancy yourself as more of a percussionist, simply hit the Hand Percussion button and use your hands to strike the pads, which become a ready-made set of great sounding hand drums.
Easy to transport, the SD305 weighs a fraction of what traditional drum kits and percussion racks do, and its compact size means you can fit it into a rucksack and easily take it to a friend's house for a jam session.
Powered by a DC12V adaptor, setting up is as easy as plugging into a plug socket, and a USB jack means that this micro drum machine produces MIDI that can be used in modern music software programs.
