Custom guitar based off of the 2011 Gibson Modern. Designed the guitar for me, but need to sell some things around here so I can get back into building again.
Body - Mahogany that started life as a 1960's Chris Craft boat! Curly maple top that started life as a friends mantle!
Pickups - Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and Jazz in the neck. Bridge pickup is controlled by a push-pull pot for Series and Parallel wiring
Bridge - Hipshop Baby Grand
Neck - Mahogany with a deep C shape. (I built this guitar for myself and my large hands!)
Tuners - Locking tuners to keep it all in place
Case - Custom designed to fit this guitar perfectly.
This guitar LOVES drop tuning and gain! It does clean up nicely, but it is like your Uncles Corvette that laughs at you when you chicken out of accelerating hard. "That's all you got!?!"
