Piccolo #5469 would have been made in 1913 according to the first-in-year serial number lists compiled from the extant company records by Robert Bigio in his book about the firm.
The name stamp includes "Ltd." indicates a production date after 1911, which is when Rudall Carte became a Limited Company.
The "sounding length" of the Piccolo is 260 mm.
It's a closed G# Böhm system.
It is a Collector's Flute and would need to be restored.
On the Piccolo it reads:
Rudall, Carte & Co. Ltd
23 Berners Street,
Oxford Street
London
5469
It is 2 Pieces, on the Second Piece it reads:
Rudall, Carte & Co. Ltd
London
Made of Ebonite (hard rubber) with silver fittings.
It has a case but the hinge on the case is broken so it is two separate pieces. In the inside lid of the case it reads:
Rudall, Carte & Co. Ltd.
