It’s portable, it has call forwarding options and there are many plans that are Canada wide for as low as $99 a year (that equates to $8.25 a month),$20 per 30 days, and $19 per month. I had absolutely no issues using this unit. I favoured Public Mobile because they have unlimited nation wide call in and a variety of long distance add ons that don’t expire until they are all set up.

Portable, only needs power, home phone set, a nano SIM card and a decent spot in home for decent signal strength.
It was used on Telus and Public Mobile (owned by Telus) and tested on Lucky Mobile (owned by Bell). Was produced after the CTRC mandated devices to be sold in an unlocked condition. So I will say it’s unlocked and am willing to allow you to try your SIM card before you buy.
