- Made by the James Smart Mfg. Co. (Diamond G), Brockville, Ontario, Canada. The company operated from 1854 until it's closure in 1965.
- Fry pan has distinct maker's mark on bottom of pan. The block lettering and the Diamond 'G' indicates this is pan was likely manufactured between 1942 and 1965.

This is pre-owned item which has seen considerable use and abuse in it's past life as evident by the areas of pitted corrosion on the bottom surface. The cooking is very smooth and has been seasoned and brought back to life.
A great example of early Canadian cast iron manufacture for the collector!
