Vintage Hand Held Spotlight
12 volt, for automotive use
Solid, heavy, waterproof rubber housing
The standard for in-vehicle spotlights for decades...this style remained pretty much unchanged since at least the early 1970s, p'raps before.
Used standard GE incandescent sealed beams.
Some were instead fitted with red or blue bulbs for undercover or stealth work
This one is relatively modern, about twenty-five years old...it has cutting edge technology (LOL), the 'new' and amazingly bright halogen bulb, and the public safety standard 3 pin 12 volt plug
New LED tech has replaced these, for good reason, but this is the perfect addition to a classic/vintage/antique police car or ambulance or other build project
And if you want to use it for it's intended use, it can be retro-fitted with a LED bulb
Brand new, never used, still has the white talcum powder on it...they were shipped with the powder to keep the rubber from sticking...the sticky rubber was an intentional feature so that the light could be placed betwixt the dash and the windscreen and wouldn't roll around...or go shooting off like a really heavy missile during wild Code 3 runs
Listed at a very competitive $95, but I am certainly open to a reasonable offer to see this go to a good home
