Vintage Spong National Cast Steel Food & Meat Chopper #25 - $15 (coquitlam center)

This is a used vintage cast iron National #25 meat grinder made to clamp onto a counter or table for use.
This grinder was manufactured in England The grinder is marked with the red 'Spong' logo on one side of the throat and 'Universal 25' on the other side of the throat. 'Made in ENGLAND' is cast on the support arm. The red 'Spong' logo also appears on the handle.
The grinder measures approximately 9" long x 7" wide and weighs in at almost 5 lbs. It has a red wooden handle.
The original handle fastener has been replaced with a screw but does hold solidly. The plate that would have attached to the top of the screw clamp for securing to a table or counter top in also missing. There are two grinding plates but it is believed the the cutter blades are missing(?).
