Has a Number 3 Marking just to the right of the handle. (See 7th Photo).
Usually means it is considered a 3 liter Jug but liquid capacity is 2 liters.
It features a hand-painted foliage motif in cobalt blue.
The salt glaze creates a durable, leak-proof finish with an "orange-peel-like" texture on the exterior.
Similar items are often associated with traditional German pottery, particularly from the Westerwald region.
Such pieces were historically used for serving beer, wine or other liquids and are now popular as collectible and decorative items.
