- Milk glass underplate with art deco style table handles in the Philbe design.
- The distinctive embossed Philbe filigree pattern circles the edge of the plate adding flair to the heat-resistant oven glass. Philbe pieces were less commonly produced, making them a desirable piece for any serious collector.
- The plate is an ivory or Clambroth colour.
- Marked "FIRE-KING OVEN GLASS"
- Believed to be from the 1940s.
- Measures ~10 1/4 inches diameter x ~1 inch high.
- Would accommodate a bowl or dish with a 6 3/8 inch diameter base
There are no chips or cracks or signs of any damage. This hot plate will be a great addition to any Fire King collection!
