A mid-century modern (1960's) teak (maybe rosewood) basket-weave/checker-board rectangular coffee table by the famous Danish furniture maker France & Son for the designer Poul Cadovius (1911-2011). These are sometimes refereed to as 'Boogie Woogie chess tables' with their parquet design and sled legs. Has the metallic label on the back, numbered and embedded in the wood. Condition for age is good as it has been used (with 50+ years of love!). It could be polished to bring out to its glory. Minor indent marks on the top and back and a few spots where the finish has come off on the top. Open to FAIR offers - this is a hard to find table in this size/shape.
