- Nine Dominion glass insulators;clear in colour with smooth bottom
- Measures ~4" tall x ~3 5/8" across the bottom.
- Insulators are marked Dominion 42.
- Glass insulators were first produced in the 1850s for telegraph lines, then for telephone and power transmission lines to insulate them from the wooden poles that held them up.
Six are in excellent condition, may be some small fleabites. One has a visible fracture. Two have significant chips on the side. Please see photos.
