- Framed advertisement for T. Hill Mansfield's Capillaris.
- T. Hill Mansfield's Capillaris, of Portland Maine, registered a label for "Mansfield's Capillaris For The Hair and Scalp" in 1882. The product was advertised as late as 1930.
- This text is reported to have appeared on the bottle: "MANSFIELD'S CAPILLARIS Application for the hair and scalp. Warranted to cure all Scalp diseases, To promote Luxuriant Hair, and prevent Dandruff. It restores Hair to the Bald and causes it to grow out natural color in place of gray. T. HILL MANSFIELD, Prop., Portland, Maine."
- The advertisement reads in part, "Used and recommended by Physicians and Druggists, T. Hill Mansfield's Capillaris for the HAIR, SCALP AND TOILET. It has proved itself a POSITIVE CURE for DANDRUFF, FALLING OF THE HAIR, AND ALL SCALP DISEASES
- Wood frame measures 30 1/2" tall and 21 1/4" wide
- Frame has four holes for secure mounting.
- Advertisement is printed on paperboard.
Removed from a pub undergoing renovations. In good vintage condition.
