Biography of Nancy:
Nancy taught Folk Art, Decorative, and Tole Painting at beginner levels in Parksville, BC for 12 years starting in 1990. The gift/craft store offered handmade local gifts, classes, and supplies in Folk Art and Quilting. Teaching locations included Vancouver Island, White Horse, Ucluelet, Bellevue, and Portland, OR.
Due to illness, the store closed in 2000, followed by a four-year hiatus. Nancy resumed painting gradually, developing new techniques and creating series such as “Southwest Pottery,” “Trees,” and “Roses.” Artwork was sold in galleries and art shows. In early 2020, Nancy relocated back to Port Coquitlam, Vancouver.
Everybody please stay Safe and Healthy have a great summer.
