There are no ZIP codes in the Fiji Islands, so I gave my zip code for my home near Egmont BC to be able to complete the form. The location is the island of Taveuni, the third largest of the Fiji Islands, often referred to as the Garden Island.
Beautiful villa on 5 acers of lawns and gardens.
2 large, detached bedrooms with king sized beds with room for 1 or two semiprivate twin beds if required.
Each bedroom has a large walk-in closet area, his and hers vanities, a large copper bathtub for two, and a stone walled outdoor shower with tropical gardens and flowers inside.
Each bedroom is steps from the stone sided, very private swimming pool.
The main house has a nice kitchen, bathroom and open dining, lounging, office and TV area, with leather and palm tree furniture. Sliding doors open to the swimming pool.
The home has Starlink satellite internet and is line of site to the local cell tower.
We have 3 incredible Fijians who will offer you as much interaction, cooking, laundry etc. as you would like, or total privacy if that is your preference.
We are a short drive or a long walk to a beautiful oceanside golf course, deserted beaches, snorkeling on tropical reefs and a very nice restaurant.
One of my favorite things about Taveuni is the ocean water temperature!
The other thing that makes Taveuni unique is the people and the culture. I have never encountered a kinder or more friendly society. I would hope to have a Lovo prepared for you; a traditional feast cooked in the ground by our staff with the assistance of the people from the local village.
The island has many restaurants from high end to places frequented by the locals that are very inexpensive.
The island has a number of scuba diving tour operators, and the home looks down on some of the world's top rated dive sites, the Great White Wall and the Rainbow Reef among many others.
There are vegetable gardens tended to by our staff and a mango tree, avocado trees, papaya trees, a soursop tree, a breadfruit tree, lemon trees, pineapple patches, passion fruit arbors and more. The lawns surround beautiful patches of tropical flowers, which you will find in your rooms and are a fun place to practice at home for the golf course.
I would suggest a 10-day minimum stay.
You will be visited by beautiful parrots, magpies, herons and at dawn and dusk you will likely see the giant fruit bats.
It is our goal to give you the vacation of a lifetime. I will want to learn from you what it would take to have this happen, and then we will do our best to make it happen!
