Model CE3A, satin silver aluminum.
This is the classic aluminum briefcase seen in numerous movies over the years.
It is a design icon that has been respected for decades.
Erle Halliburton originally commissioned the aluminium case in 1938 from aircraft engineers because other luggage could not endure the rough travel through Texas oil fields.
It was updated in 1946 with the now classic double rib design.

I purchased this Elite Series case new in 1996.
This case shows some scratches and wear marks on the outside, which adds to the patina. It is as strong and durable as ever. The interior is in almost perfect condition.
Buckles are cam type and work as new.
Hinge is a full length piano hinge.
The lock is a three digit combination lock, which can be set to your choice of combination.
Dimensions are 13” x 18” x 3.37”, or 32.5cm x 45cm x 8.4cm.
Original brochures, purchase letter, and instructions for setting the lock combination are included.
