Unique and discontinued Logitech Z305 USB power and digital audio speaker for laptops notebooks chromebooks and macbooks.
This speaker has a retractable hook that hangs off the top of your laptop screen and will give you much better sound than the speakers in your laptop. You won't notice the speaker since it's behind the screen, but you will notice the huge improvement in sound.
You can of course also put it between the top of your laptop keyboard and screen, but it might block part of the screen bottom.
The built in USB cable provides power and digital audio. You don't need to use the 3.5mm connection on your laptop for audio as most USB powered speakers need. It does also have an analog 3.5mm audio input so you can use it as a speaker for your phone tablet or anything else with a 3.5mm audio out.
Controls are power and volume up or down. The volume buttons are only for analog 3.5mm input, they are bypassed in USB audio mode.
The USB cable stores in the speaker for travel.
Includes another brand soft carrying pouch that fits almost the whole speaker.
