Minor blemishes here and there but overall great. Heated front and back seats, backup sensor, super sweet two-tone leather. I'm the 2nd owner from what I gathered and I've owned the car for 3 years now and barely put 15,000km on it.
There are service records in the book from Capilano Audi and I’ve always done oil changes at least yearly with synthetic plus I always use 91+ octane. I like my cars and treat them well.
There is one ICBC hit I think around $5k (not on my watch) plus the cracked windshield (that was a rock on the highway), clean title.
I’ll get the bad stuff out of the way first:
- Has a slight oil seep but been that way since I got it, have had to top up oil twice over the years but that's all. Drives great so I’ve been too lazy to look in to it.
- As you can sort of see pictured the PRNDS is lit up which is a trickle down effect of the TCM replacement as it got soaked (thanks Audi designers). Drives and shifts fine for months like this, just needs a replacement cable (about $100) as the current one probably has some corrosion on the contacts.
- Windshield wiper fluid sensor seems to have failed. Wipers, motors, fluid and everything is fine it just thinks it’s low when it’s not. Again, no time to fix something that basically does nothing.
- The rear cargo cover broke so that's kind of useless but the mesh divider is fine (as pictured). I have the rolling cover part in the garage, you might be able to repair it? I have a bunch of small plastic bits that fell apart on one end. Possibly all the pieces?
- Front brake pads are getting low, no squealing or vibrations so again it’s $100 for new pads and some time (which I don’t have).
On to the good/great!
- Has cold AC and runs great. Heated seats and everything works excellent.
- Stereo still sounds great has the Bose system.
- I'll throw in the full stereo harness and dash kit (just add a head unit to get Nav) that I never installed.
- Airmatic is solid and I’ve never had a problem with it, used it plenty in winters.
- No rust or any damage other than the cracked windshield, we can sort out what’s easier depending on deductibles.
- Should last another 20 years easy with a few minor fixes or you could live with them like I did. I gave it a decent clean and I will shortly clean the mats with my carpet cleaner.
