The truck is an original stock gen 1 Tacoma. It served me very well for 15 years. Living in the sea to sky weakened,the already cheap frame that we all know Toyota used in those days. The engine and drivetrain only has 170,000 on it, good for another 300 at least.
The body has some surface rust in all the usual places, but pretty good for a 26 year old Toyota. I was quoted $5k in pemberton to patch up the frame…? But if you have a shop, and your a good welder, it can be done for much less than that. It takes time, and not every one needs $110 per hour…
